North Korea

North Korea is the most restrictive when it comes to the internet. They are not completely without internet but have very limited
access. "Kwangmyong" is officially North Korea's sanctioned intranet. It is similar to traditional dial-up connections. However, the
network is limited to a few selected sites that have been chosen and censored from the real internet. "This network is accessible by
the handful of computer labs at major North Korean government offices, universities, and a small number of cybercafes in major cities."
Besides that, only high elites are allowed to access it, however, they still have very limited access. The internet is forbidden to
everyone else in the country. The actual number of people who can access the internet in the country is about a few thousand. To put
it into perspective, there are only 1,024 IP addresses for the entire population.
Other than that, some people might be able to access satellite-based internet using devices that mostly has been smuggled into the
country.
